Koepe & Partner is a young, growing, succesful patent firm in Munich that offers services covering the complete spectrum of Intellectual Property. In 2001, after 15 years’ experience as a German and European Patent and Trademark Attorney, Gerd L. Koepe, LL.M. achieved his goal of owning his own business by founding Koepe & Partner together with fellow Patent Attorney Katharina Bauch-Koepe.Our German and international client base has been rapidly expanding since 2001 and consists mainly of leading Technology Research Centres, small and medium-sized innovative and R&D oriented businesses in Germany, as well as clients in the EU, the USA and the Far East.
Our specialty is in consulting and implementation, i.e., we draft, file, prosecute and manage technical IP rights, trademarks and designs in the domestic, European and international spheres; we also enforce these rights against third parties. As such, we represent our clients before the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO), the European Patent Office (EPO), the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the German Federal Court (BPatG). We also cooperate closely with attorneys-at-law to act before the German and European courts of general jurisdiction. Our location in Munich offers direct proximity to the main Intellectual Property Offices.
