Obtained Chemistry Degree in 1979 from the University of Freiburg/Breisgau with specialization in organic chemistry, biochemistry, bioorganic chemistry and polymer chemistry. Scientific work at the Max-Planck Institute for Coal Research in Mülheim/Ruhr until 1982. Patent Attorney training until 1986, work at the Düsseldorf District Court (4th Chamber for Patent and Trademark Infringement) in 1985. Patent Attorney since 1987, European Patent Attorney since 1989. Became Partner responsible for chemical and trademark areas at Blumbach, Kramer & Partner in 1995. Senior Partner at Koepe & Partner since 2001. Master’s Program in European Intellectual Property at the Hagen FernUniversität since the 2003/2004; 2005: LL. M. ( University of Hagen ).
